Sheryl Belcher, 72, of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Russellville on Feb. 15, 1952, to the late Leo Wright and Alma McPherson Wright. She was a member of Plainview General Baptist Church, was a teacher’s aide for Chandlers School and loved the children of Chandlers School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Ray Belcher.
She is survived by her daughter. Jennifer Belcher Jacobs and husband Jeremy of Bowling Green; her sister, Dorothy Davenport and husband Benton of Russellville; and her grandchildren, Jaxson Jacobs and Jillian Jacobs
Funeral services for Sheryl Belcher will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at Plainview General Baptist Church with Bro. Arno Kranz officiating with burial to follow in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Sunday will be held from noon until the service hour.
