Marion Clyde Whitescarver, 94, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at Med Center Health- Russellville. He was born Friday, May 9, 1930, the son of the late Vernon Whitescarver and the late Nellie Hopkins Whitescarver. He was the husband of Betty Oglesby Whitescarver of Russellville, who survives.
He worked as a restauranteur and owned several restaurants over the years.
Marion was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having honorably served his country during the Korean War.
Surviving are his son, Keith (Marcy Krever) Whitescarver of West Hartford, Conn.; his daughter, Teri Whitescarver of Russellville; and his grandsons, Joshua Parramore of Russellville and John Whitescarver of Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, with Bro. Wilbur Powell officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
