Dorothy Lee Tomes, 86, of Lewisburg Road, Russellville, died on Friday, March 20, 2015, at her residence.
She was born Tuesday, Sept. 11, 1928 in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of the late Roy Pierson and the late Dee Knight Pierson. She was the wife of the late Clifford Tomes.
She was retired from Emerson Electric and had worked at sewing factories in Indiana.
Surviving are her son, Don Tomes - (Shelly) of Russellville, KY; her grandchildren; Corey Tomes - (Kayla), Jacob Tomes and Connie Meredith - (Wes), all of Russellville, and her great-grandchildren, Chloe Meredith, Avery Meredith and Macie Tomes, all of Russellville.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Bro. James Slack officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, at Price Funeral Home.
