Della Belcher Carter, 89, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Clarksville, on Jan/ 19, 1936, to the late John Temp Belcher and Nettie Bell Gray Belcher. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and had worked at Red Kapp Industries.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Carter; her daughter, Diane Thompson; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Gorham and husband Eric of Lewisburg, and her three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Della Belcher Carter will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Gorham officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Garden. Visitation Monday at the funeral home will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour.
