Roy Sattazahn, 63, of West 9th Street, Russellville, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Bowling Green Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green. He was born in Lebanon, Penn. on Nov. 27, 1951 to the late John Albert Sattazahn and June Elizabeth Hollinger Sattazahn.
He was self-employed as a locksmith, a U.S. Army veteran and member of the National Guard. He was a member of the Jesus Christ Apostolic Church and site superintendent for Habitat Humanity for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife ~ Theresa Law Sattazahn; his son ~ Shawn Andréa Sattazahn ~ Bowling Green; his twin brother, Paul R. Perry ~ Red Lodge, Mont.; his other brothers Leonard, Joseph, Timothy, Thomas and Daniel Sattazahn; his sisters ~ Rose Bieler, Mary Ann Gernert, Betty Sattazahn, Susan Cranford and Joan Barr, all of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Roy Sattazahn will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Burchett officiating with burial in Red Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday will begin at 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m.
