Agnes Virginia Epley, 68, of Franklin, passed away at her residence with family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Carter and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ada Sue and Edith Sue, and her brothers, Wiliam Carter and Clayton Carter.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Epley of Franklin; her daughters, Juanita Johns (Bryan) of Russellville, Christina Goodwin of Franklin, Lucy Joyce of Franklin, and Linda McMillian of Lewisburg; her sons, Jerry Epley (Amanda) of Russellville and Brian Epley (Karla Wayne) of Franklin and Danny Epley (Melissa), all of Franklin; her brother, Homer Carter (Margie) of Tennessee; her sisters, Penny Dickerson of Russellville, Irene Conn (Dave Alexander) of Berea, Betty McPhail of Russellville, Shirley Barber of Auburn, Helda Creek of Lewisburg, and Mary Ann Waldrop of Pembroke; and her 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Agnes loved her family, spending time with them and cooking. She had a love for shopping and doing for others. She retired from Auburn Health Care from housekeeping after many years of serving.
Visitation will be Thursday March 20, in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Bro. David Lewis officiating services at 1 p.m. with entombment to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens.
