Jerry Edward Taylor, 80, of Elkton passed away on April 29, 2025 at the Parma Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on Oct. 22, 1944 in Russellville to the late James and Frances Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Taylor and Donnie Taylor.
He is survived by his fiancé, Donna Taylor of Dayton, Ohio; his daughters, Terri Taylor of Lewisburg and Tina Taylor Ausbrooks of Auburn; his step-daughter, Cheryl Wix of Russellville; his sister, Cathy Williams (Warner) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Cameron Taylor and Taylor Ausbrooks; his step-grandchildren, Lindsay Soyars and Brandon Soyars; his great-grandchildren, Avery Taylor and Rhaenyra Taylor; and his step-great grandchildren, Keeton Soyars and Elijah Farmer.
Jerry was a Christian and attended the Russellville Christian Church. He also served our country he loved.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Jarrett Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Bro. Dana Reed officiating.
Kirby Funeral Services Russellville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
