Juanita Walker, 88, of North Main Street, Russellville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was a Logan County native, born Jan. 21, 1927 to the late Charles E. Baker and Kate Bryant Baker. She was an operator with the Illinois Tool Works and a member of the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son ~ Richard “Dickie” McCranie ~ Spring, Texas; her daughters ~ Shirley Sircy and husband David ~ Springfield, Tenn. and Sherry Allen and husband Tommy Jr. ~ Russellville; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike McCranie, and a daughter, Dianna Holland.
Funeral services for Juanita Walker will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Roney officiating with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday, April 4, from 4-7:00 p.m. and after noon on Sunday until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
