Clyde Williman Boggs Jr. was born on June 14, 1964, in Tampa to the late Clyde William Boggs Sr. and Glenna Miller of Magnolia, Ky., who survives. He had been receiving Hospice care since June 27. He passed away at his home on Friday July 18, 2025, surrounded by Family.
He married the love of his life, Carolyn Denise Boggs (Boyd) on April 2, 1983. They had three sons who survive: William Boggs (Krystal) of Elkton, Eric Boggs of Russellville and Joe Boggs (Ashley) of Lewisburg. Also surviving are his siblings, Kenny Mathis of Missouri, Billie Janson (Charlie) of Fairborn, Ohio, Cindy Boggs Wilson (Harold) of Elizabethtown and Robert Boggs (Tomma Jean- considered a daughter), and Gary Wayne Mathis, deceased.
Clyde was saved and baptized in the summer of 2003 in Bowling Green at Abundant Life Church. His pride and joy was his 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 3 fur babies (Junior, Dixie, & Hachi) He had muscular dystrophy and was disabled and loved to ride his Harley. He had two nieces he considered daughters, as well, Kandy Martin & Crystal Boyd. Special friends that showed love and care are Jr. Leal & Lisa Crain. His family was his strength, and when he loved he loved hard. He was loved by so many including his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and other extended family
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville with burial to follow in Felts Cemetery.
