Johnny Willhite, 85, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Med Center Health- Bowling Green. He was born Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1939, the son of the late Leonard Willhite and the late Gracie Sears Willhite. He was the husband of the late Ellen Willhite.
He owned a salvage yard and was a mechanic. Johnny also had a love for racing.
Surviving are his sons, Vance (Wilda) Willhite of Russellville and Ronnie (Lisa) Willhite of Russellville; his stepdaughters, Daphne Bilyeu of Russellville and Melinda (Marty) Wilkins of Russellville; his stepson, Jeff Holt of Tennessee; his sisters, Carolyn (Pat) Richie of Elizabethtown, Elwanda Mantlo of Lewisburg and Martha (Terris) Wells of Florida; his brother, A.B. (Phyllis) Willhite of Lewisburg; and his nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dave Willhite; his grandsons, Coyle Willhite, Lance Willhite, and David Willhite; and his sisters, Peggy Moore and Mary Farmer.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Bro. Richard Allen and Bro. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
