Warren Douglas Stuart, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.
He was born Sunday, Dec. 12, 1937, the son of the late Curtis Stuart and the late Ethel Williams Stuart. He was the husband of Betty Stuart of Lewisburg who survives. Warren and Betty were married for a wonderful 67 years.
Warren was a farmer in north Logan County where he grew tobacco and raised cattle for many years. He was very strong in his faith; he served the Lord for 87 years and was a church treasurer for 47. He also was a board member for the North Logan Soil Conservation and worked at Farm Service Agency in Russellville.
Along with his wife, Warren is survived by his daughter, Carolyn (Steve) Johns of Russellville; his granddaughter, Kim (Johnny) Luckenbill of Russellville; his grandsons, Bryan Johns of Lewisburg, Nathan (Amy) Stuart of Lewisburg, and Nicholas (Madison) Stuart of Lewisburg; and his five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son, Dewayne Stuart; his sisters, Annie May Stuart, Louise Thomas, and Beth Shoemaker; and his brothers, Curtis Ray Stuart and James Stuart.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Nathan Stuart and Nicholas Stuart officiating. Interment will be in Stuart Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
There will be another visitation on Friday, Aug. 22, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
