Betty Davis Miller, 95, of Proctor Mill Road, Russellville, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Auburn Health Care. She was born in Shinnston, W.V. on March 7, 1920 to the late Hershel Martin and Bessie Murphy Martin. She was in shoe sales in Orlando, Fla. and was of the Methodist faith.
She was the widow of Layman F. Davis and, later, King Miller.
She is survived by her daughter ~ Judith Hoover and husband Tom ~ Russellville; her grandchildren ~ Thomas Michael Hoover and Andrew Layman Hoover; her great-grandchildren ~ Derek Henson, Mason Hoover, Genevieve Hoover Thomas, Elizabeth Hoover and Thomas Calloway Hoover; and her great-great-grandchild ~ Sawyer Thomas.
The family has chosen cremation and there will be no services at this time.
The cremains will be interred at a later date at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, K.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
