Linda Guion Gilliam, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on Feb. 22, 1938 to the late John H. Guion Jr. and Winnie Minnix Guion.

Linda lived her entire life in Russellville and graduated from Russellville High School in 1956. She was also a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church. She retired from Southern Deposit Bank after more than 20 years as a teller. Linda loved her community and was a devoted friend to many. Her passion, however, was her family who knew her as Mom or Memaw.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband, Glenn Gilliam, as well as her brothers Johnny Guion and George Guion.

Her survivors include her brother, Joe (Carolyn) Guion of Oxford, Miss.; her sister-in-law, Patsy Guion, Lewisburg; her sons, Steve (Kim) Gilliam of Madisonville and Mark (Leslie) Gilliam of Franklin, Tenn.; her daughters, Diane (Ricky) Walker of Russellville and Sherry Winecoff of Nashville; her grandchildren, Kyla (Bill) Costello, Michael (Victoria) Walker, Kelly (Christine) Gilliam, Courtney (Noah) Bowman, Ben Gilliam, Ellie Gilliam, and Olivia (Erwin) Zuniga; her great-grandchildren, Hunter McDowell,  Jacoveon Temple-Dickerson, Valentina Martinez, Brelynn Walker, Kynnzie Costello, Thomas Gilliam, Bradley Grace Bowman, Everett Gilliam, Nash Gilliam, Aaron Gilliam and Rosemary Bowman; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, at Summers and Son funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Monday until the funeral hour.
