Nathan ‘Snake’ Brown, 67, of Auburn, passed away in his home on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025. He was an excellent body man, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marlene Brown; his son, Jason Brown; and his grandson, Layton Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Brown; his daughter, Becky Gipson (Charles Atkins) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Sabrina Bannick (Rich) of Louisville, Anna Rogers (Stephen) of Auburn, Josh Eversole of Bowling Green, Lance Brown (Kaydance) of Bowling Green; his great-grandchildren, Michael Blain Rogers and Amara Brown; his sisters, Sharon Alexander of Auburn and Charlotte Anderson (Ken Blank) of Chandlers; his brother Dale Brown of Rockfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 5, in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Brother Kenny Chyle officiating services at 2pm with burial to follow in Gasper River Cemetery in Bucksville. Pallbearers will be Josh Eversole, Lance Brown, Robbie Brown, Kelly Anderson, Shawn Pardue and Wado Bemiss.
