Graveside, Sunday, Aug. 31
Linda Harlan, 75, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. She was born in Frankfort on Oct. 29, 1949 to the late Clyde Brown and Patsy Green Brown. She was a librarian at Olmstead School, She earned a bachelors degree from Murray State University, as well as a masters degree from Western Kentucky University. She was also a charter member of Victory Baptist Church where she played the piano.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe Michael Harlan; her daughters, Jennifer Capps and husband Andy of Bowling Green, Lindsey Harlan and husband Kasey Clear of South Bend, Ind. and Sarah Jo Harlan of Russellville; her brother, Michael Brown and wife Donna of Lewisburg; her sisters ~ Jane Wilson and husband Jeff of Gallatin, Tenn. and Jodi Stuart and husband Robert of Russellville; and her grandchildren ~ Keyleigh Harlan of Nashville and Eli Capps and Justin Capps ~ Bowling Green, KY
Graveside services for Linda Harlan were conducted at on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Beechland Cemetery where the family officiated.
Summers and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
