Kim “Slim” Whitman, 61, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025 at his home. He was born in Peoria, Ill. on Oct. 25, 1964 to the late Robert J. Whitman and Maxine O. Knox Whitman. He had worked at TMS and was a member of the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Robin Baker Whitman; his daughters, Kristina Jenkins and husband James of Charleston, Ill. and Lily Whitman of Russellville; and his grandchildren, Aribella Jenkins and Riley Jenkins.
Funeral services for Kim “Slim” Whitman will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Scott Harp officiating with burial to follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the service time.
