James “Jack” Schoby, 70, of Adairville, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green surrounded by family. He was born on April 17, 1955 in Algona, Iowa.
He was a manager in the restaurant business, loved to fish, member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and was a Veteran in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Jessica Schoby of Adairville,; his daughter, Crystal Coronado (Horacio) of Bowling Green; his sisters-in- law, Ruhama Dozier (Terry) of Adairville, Juanita Hand (Robert) of Pleasant View, Tenn., Beverly Dozier (Jerry) of Cedar Hill, Tenn. and Penny Fulcher (Dwayne) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Demerson, Dayton Thompson, William Lyons, Raven Delrosal, Zackary Delrosal, Micah Delrosal, Ana Chavez, Sabastion Salvador, Elana Salvador, Salomon Salvador and Diego Salvado; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Drucella Mays, and her husband, Larry Mayes.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Grove Parkside with Bro. Calvin Naylor and Bro. Courtney Schmidt officiating services with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Dayton Thompson, William Lyons, Zackary Delrosal, Micah Delrosal, Jaxson Sayle a Miguel Coronado.
