Mark Richard Wilson, 70, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 at his home. He was born in Bowling Green on Feb. 25, 1955, to the late Albert Ray Wilson and Jo Ann Blick Moats.
He was a lumber grader and worked at ITW. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Russellville Athletic fan, a former RHS football player known as “Morocco 30.”
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Lucille Blick; his brothers, Joey Wilson. Ronnie Croslin, his twin, Michael Ray Wilson; his sister. Pat Croslin Smith; and his grandson, John Layton Brown.
He is survived by his daughters. Tammy Ashby and husband, Curt and Jennifer Creek and husband Eddie, all of Auburn; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Bailey, Jacob Decker, Zachary Decker, and Lance Brown and wife Kaydance; his great-grandchildren, Amara Brown, Anna Bailey, Allie Bailey and Axel Bailey; and his aunts, Paulett Arnold of Olmstead and Dru Moss of Russellville.
A Celebration of Life for Mark Richard Wilson will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday will be held from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
