Kenneth Wayne Sweeney, 74, of Russellville passed away on Monday Dec. 8, 2025, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born Dec. 7, 1951, in Greenville to the late Harvey Herman Sweeney and Amanda Avanell Sweeney.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wanda Faye Sweene and Mary Ford and his, brother Billy Sweeney.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Blick (Michael) of Russellville; his grandson, Christian Blick of Russellville; his brothers, Donald Sweeney of Dunmor and Tony Sweeney of Lewisburg; and his sisters, Joyce Madden (Bill) of Rochester, N.H. and Belinda K. Hildabrand (Stony) of Lewisburg.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church and loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He was a member of the Senior Center and loved to dance.
Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the chapel of Kirby Funeral Services Russellville, followed by Bro. Stony Hildabrand officiating services at 1 with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville.
Pallbearers will be Chris Dyer, Chris Blick, Lenoard Glenn, Tony Sweeney, Christian Blick and Dylan Sweeney.
