Bryan Keith Dye of Lewisburg, 60, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, surrounded by those who loved him. Bryan was married to his devoted wife, Tamie Dye, for 29 years. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and quiet dedication.

Bryan dedicated 30 years of service to the Kentucky Department of Highways, retiring as an Engineering Technologist III. He devoted his free time from work and his retirement years to woodworking, often found working in his shop doing what he loved. He was also known as the man behind the scenes at Ziggy’s Place, always willing to help wherever he was needed, rarely seeking recognition.

Bryan was a proud father of six children. He is survived by his daughters, Macie (Ethan Thomason) and Megan Dye, and his sons, Zachary (Austynn) Dye, Nathan Dye, and Shawn Dye. He was a loving grandfather to Charlie, Beckett, Bryleigh, and Isla, who brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his siblings, Leonard “Gomer” Dye of Lewisburg, Gina Mitcheson of Cadiz, and Patty Owen of Lewisburg.

Bryan was preceded in death by his beloved son, Brandon Dye; his parents, Clyde Dye and Maxine Estes-Dye; and his brother, Stevie Dye.

Bryan will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and the quiet ways he showed love to his family and community.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Beechland Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Luke Brown officiating and burial to follow at Stuarts Chapel Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Kirby Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences and more can be found at kirbyfuneralservices.com.
