Harold Glenn Staples, 86 , of Dunmor, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green.
He was born Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1939, the son of the late Leslie Staples and the late Ethel Porter Staples. He was the husband of Patty Kitchens Staples of Dunmor, who survives.
He spent many years as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola plant in Russellville. He also worked for Odom's Sausage and BTR. He was also a Christian and a faithful member of Dunmor Baptist Church, where we was a member for over 75 years.
In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his daughters, Darlene Staples of Russellville, and Debbie Morgan of Elkton; his sons, Ricky Staples of Hodgenville and Dwayne Staples of Powderly; and several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by daughters, Kathy Boobar and Karen Bigham; his son, Marcus Brent Staples; his sisters, Pauline Jenkins, Vivian Staples, Mildred Gibson, Hazel Woodlee, Clara White, and Ilene Baugh; and his brother, Delbert Staples.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, with Bro. Jeremy Whitney and Bro. Austin Weist officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
