David W. “Davy” Craig II, 47, of Bowling Green, passed away on Feb. 19, 2026. Born April 13, 1978 in Dennison, Ohio, he was the son of David W. Craig I of New Philadelphia, Ohio and the late Linda K. Tewers (Meek) of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.
Davy was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was an extremely talented artist, master carpenter and woodworker who created several beautiful pieces over the years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and gun enthusiast, and he had recently started a taxidermy business that was thriving.
He is preceded in death by his mother Linda Tewers; his stepfather, Vern Tewers; his stepmother, Chris Craig; his brother, Jack Vermillion; his father-in-law, Greg Deans; and his mother-in-law Cindy Deans.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Craig (Deans), whom he married on Oct. 16, 2004; their sons, David “Tre” Craig III, of Sioux Falls, N. D. and Colt Craig of Bowling Green; his sister, Patty Slowikowski (Chuck) of Southern Shores, N.C.; his brother, Tate Vermillion (Tonya) of Powells Point, N.C.; his sister, Lisa Tarulli of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his sister-in-law, Kim Vermillion of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his brothers-in-law, Travis (Judy) of Uniontown, Penn., Jake (Erin) of Russellville and Justin Deans of Bowling Green; his stepbrother, Brett Smitley; his stepsister, Nikki Smitley; and several nieces and nephews.
