Wanda Lou (Penrod) Coursey, 82, of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.

She was born Friday, April 14, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Porshun Penrod and the late Eupha Webb Penrod. She was the wife of the late David Coursey.

She was a homemaker and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. 

She was a member of Homemakers, Lioness Club, Rotary Club, and a pianist for Elk Lick Baptist Church. 

Surviving are her son, Joe Coursey (Jeanne) of Lewisburg; her daughters, Cindy Lou Betz (Paul) of Bardstown, and Sarah Jones (Chuck) of Murray; her brother, Mendel "Butch" White of Rock Hill, S.C.; her daughter-in-law, Mandee Huyek of Paducah; her sister-in-law, Barbara Penrod of Russellville; her close friend, Rufus Earl Coursey of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Jim Coursey, and her brother, Glen Penrod

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday at Elk Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Art Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg. There will also be visitation from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, May 4, at Elk Lick Baptist Church before the funeral service.
