Claude Elton Willis, 88, of Lewisburg, died on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Cal Turner Extended Care in Scottsville.
He was born Thursday, Oct. 21, 1926 in Todd County, the son of the late Claude Elmer Willis and the late Laura Rager Willis. He was the husband of the late Filinda McElwian Willis.
He was a self-employed farmer and an Army Veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Wileys Chapel Methodist Church.
Surviving are his son, Leroy Willis of Scottsville; his brother, Loyd Willis of Lewisburg; his sister, Edith Slaughter of Lewisburg; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Rev. Travis Bryan officiating. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1, at Price Funeral Home.
