Jackie Dunlap, 68, of Adairville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn. He was Logan County native born Aug. 14, 1946 to the late Doy Quincy Dunlap and Katherine Marie Epley Hope. He was a member of the Post Oak Baptist Church, was a U.S. Army Veteran, served three 4-year terms as Logan County Coroner, was a former director of the Logan County Ambulance Service, was a former Russellville City Councilman and was formerly employed with the Logan County Hospital and Sanders Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife ~ Doris Dunlap; his son ~ Bo Dunlap ~ Adairville; his daughter ~ Jennifer Motsinger and husband, Dawson ~ Olmstead; his brothers ~ Bobby Hope ~ Mountain City, Tenn. and David Richardson ~ Russellville; his sister ~ Vanessa Hope Rigsby ~ Russellville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Jackie Dunlap will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Harris Dockins officiating. There will be visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Friday and lasting until the service hour of 2 p.m.
