Wendell Woodall, 79, of 10th Fairway, Russellville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his home. He was born in Russellville, Kentucky on May 28, 1936 to the late Ard Exie Woodall and Myrtle Mae Jenkins. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a skilled machinist with Warrick Alcoa Operations, in Newburg, Indiana and a member of Second Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace Anderson Woodall; his brother ~ Bobby Woodall ~ Russellville; his sisters ~ Erline Steenbergen and Faye Clark ~ both of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Wendell Woodall will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday, July 7, from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Duncans Cemetery or Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
