Karon (Karo) Ashby, 66, of Russellville, died on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Sunday, Aug. 29, 1948 in Russellville, the son of the late Buford Ashby and the late Rhoda Pogue Ashby. He was the husband of Barbara McKinney Ashby of Franklin.
He had been a welder at Bilt Rite in Russellville.
Surviving are sons, Curtis Ashby (Tammy) of Russellville and Barry Ashby of Franklin; his daughters, Angela Ashby of Russellville, Tina Ashby of Hopkinsville, Tonya Ashby of Auburn, and Bridgette Hampton (Brett) of Franklin; his brother, Clayton Ashby of Clarksville; his caregiver, Jackie Reynolds Pineda of Russellville; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Boyd Davin Young.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Dickie Carter officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, at Price Funeral Home.
