Urel Garvin McKinney, 75 of Lewisburg, died on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky.
He was born Monday, Oct. 16, 1939 in Hanson, Ky., the son of the late Windell Garvin McKinney and the late Almanell Garrett McKinney. He was the husband of the late Elcie Perry McKinney.
He was a self employed farmer and a member of Mt. Vernon General Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons, Ralph McKinney and Chris McKinney, both of Lewisburg; his daughter, Loria Rice of Auburn; his brothers, Linville McKinney of Russellville, Rayburn McKinney of Draffenville, Ky., and Randall McKinney and Ricky McKinney, both of Lewisburg’; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 22 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc., located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Rev. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery, Logan County.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
