Violet Mae Pursley, 80, of Russellville, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Auburn Health Care in Auburn.
She was born Thursday, May 16, 1935 in Logan County, the daughter of the late Ernest Pursley and the late Geneva Williams Pursley.
She was a factory worker for General Electric and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sisters, Brenda Wilson and Linda Cole, both of Russellville, and two special cousins, Elaine Thompson and Darlene Snyder, both of Owensboro.
She was predeceased by he brother, Gordan Pursley, and a sister, Dorothy Logan.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Bro. Joey Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery, Logan County.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Price Funeral Home.
