Betty Lou Forgy, 67 of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born Thursday, July 1, 1948 in Mascoutah, Ill., the daughter of the late Melvin Covington and the late Margaret Sumner Covington. She was the wife of Vernie Forgy, who survives.
She was a retired seamstress for Red Kap and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
Also surviving are her daughters, Tammy Hall of Lewisburg and Cindy Thibault of Pensacola, Fla.; her brothers, Larry Covington of Franklin, Steve Covington of Sharon Grove, Ronnie Covington of Hopkinsville, Kenny Covington of Russellville and Troy Covington of Lewisburg; her sisters, Ann Spohn of Lewisburg, Darlene Goodman of Lewisburg, Debbie Covington of Lewisburg, KY, Jean Roe of Lewisburg, Kathy Irvin of Lewisburg and Brenda Shutts of Sharon Grove; sevem grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg with Bro. Larry Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Price Funeral Home.
