Charlie Starks, 86, of Schochoh Road, Schochoh, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his home. He was born in Detroit, Mich. on Aug. 15, 1929 to the late James Milton Starks and Maggie Vera Caudill Starks.
He was an Air Force veteran and a tow motor operator for Pirelli Armstrong Tire Co. He was a member of the Adairville Church of Christ and the Adairville Fish and Game Club.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha Starks; his son ~ Jim Starks and wife,\ Pat ~ Adairville; his step-daughter ~ Carolyn Ann Sanford, and husband Jeff ~ Franklin; 13 grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Robert Starks, and his daughter, Nannette King.
Funeral services for Charlie Starks will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Gannon officiating and burial to follow in Whippoorwill Cemetery in Schochoh. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and last until the service hour of 2 p.m.
