Ray Kenneth Eddings, 88, of Kingsford Road, Russellville, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at Creekwood Place in Russellville. He was born in Logan County May 1, 1927 to the late Elmer Eddings and Lillie Mae Moore Eddings. He was a farmer, carpenter and worked with Houchens Market in Russellville. He was a member of Epley United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Mae Eddings; his son, Darrell Eddings, and his daughter, Janie Marie Eddings.
He is survived by his daughter ~ Debbie Sue Eddings ~ Russellville; his granddaughter ~ Summer Eddings Fears ~ Guston; and his great-grandchildren ~ Lincoln and Trenton Fears ~ Guston. Several nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral Services for Ray Kenneth Eddings will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Epley United Methodist Church with Bro. Travis Bryan and Bro. Doug Phillips officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home was held Wednesday, Aug. 19, and will be held Thursday at the church, beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until the service hour at 11.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Epley United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
