Revanell Hinton Van Zee, 78, of Ryan Drive, Russellville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born Nov. 23, 1936 to the late Ira Hinton and Nellie Poyner Hinton. She was a self-employed beautician, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and active in the Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Van Zee; her son ~ Jeff Hinton and wife Diana ~ Deerlick; her daughter ~ Faye Warden and husband Billy ~ Athens, Ga.; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Hinton and Edward Hinton, and a sister, Wanda Hall.
Graveside services for Revanell Hinton Van Zee will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 with Bro. Gene Bracken officiating at the McPherson Cemetery. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
