John Ewing Gragg, 69, of Russellville, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. John was born on Feb. 8, 1946 in Russellville to the late Earl Pete Gragg and Ima Jean Gragg, who survives.
John was a member of the Class of 1964 at Russellville High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He was a school teacher at Auburn Elementary for 27 years. He had a passion for golf and watching any sport the Kentucky Wildcats were playing. He passed these passions onto his son. He was a civil war buff and loved traveling to civil war sites with his daughter.
Survivors include his son, Jason Gragg (Kerri) of Bowling Green; his daughter, Jennifer Gragg, of Bowling Green; his brother, Gary Gragg of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Kasey, Khloe, Sophia, and Cooper, and a niece and nephew.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday Oct. 24, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Indian Hills Country Club.
Cremation was chosen.
