Shirley Woodward, 69, of Oak Street, Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at the Alive Hospice in Madison, Tenn. She was born in Frankfort, on Feb. 20, 1946 to the late James Ashby and Jonell Eggers Ashby. She was an Associate Broker with Keller Williams Realty, member of the Million Dollar Sales Club, former member of the Lewisburg City Council, owner of Lewisburg General Store, member of the Chamber of Commerce and member of New Vision Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Szachnitowski; her son ~ Jeffery Woodward ~ Virginia Beach, Va.; her brother ~ James Ashby ~ Lewisburg; her sisters ~ Rosemary Albert ~ Huntsville, Ala., Judi Blair ~ Nashville and Sherri Potts ~ Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life for Shirley Woodward will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Rogers officiating.
Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday will be from noon until the service hour of 1.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to The Logan County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
