Garnett Holloway, 73, of the Orndorff Mill Road, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native, born May 15, 1942 to the late Alvy ‘Doc’ Holloway and Ruth Ellen Hankins Holloway. He retired from Odom Sausage Plant in Adairville and was a member of the United Methodist Temple.
He is survived by his Wife ~ Kay McIntosh Holloway; his son ~ Todd Holloway ~ Russellville; his daughter ~ Jennifer Watwood and husband Brian ~ Russellville; his brother ~ Jerry Holloway and wife Carol ~ Russellville; his sisters ~ Linda Celsor, Brenda Gorrell and Sandra Spear ~ all of Russellville; his grandchildren ~ Brittany Holloway, McKenzie Thomason and Jaxon Watwood; his brother-in-law ~ Phillip McIntosh and wife Becky ~ Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Garnett Holloway will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Sayer and Bro. Kenneth Clark officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will continue until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or to the United Methodist Temple. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
