Darlene Goodman, 66, of Lewisburg, died on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1949 in Belleville, Ill., the daughter of the late Melvin Covington Sr. and the late Margaret Sumner Covington.
She was disabled.
Surviving are her sons, Kevin Covington of Lewisburg and Brian Goodman, both of Lewisburg; her daughter, Deloris Insco of Lewisburg; her brothers, Larry Covington of Franklin, Steve Covington of Sharon Grove, Ronnie Covington of Hopkinsville, Kenny Covington of Russellville and Troy Covington of Lewisburg; her sisters, Ann Spohn of Russellville, Debbie Covington of Lewisburg, Jean Roe of Lancaster, Cal., Kathy Irvin of Lewisburg, and Brenda Shutts of Sharon Grove; a grandchild, Amanda Watkins of Cedar Hill, Tenn., and 1 special friend, Rusty Goodman of Lewisburg.
She was predeceased by her brothers, David Covington and Mike Covington, and her sister, Betty Forgy.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Larry Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Rosewood Methodist Church Cemetery, Rosewood.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
