Ernest Dewayne "Ernie" Brooks, 64 of Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born Thursday, Dec. 21, 1950 in Logan County, the son of the late Wilbur B. Brooks and the late Cora Ausbrooks Brooks.
He was a laborer for Labor Union and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his daughter, Tina Dukes; his brother, James Brooks (Delores) of Lewisburg; 4 grandchildren, and close friend Tony Henderson (Penny) of Lewisburg.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Melissa Brooks, and his brother, Leonard Brooks.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg 42256 with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in Stuarts Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
