Shelby Jean Morgan, 77, of Russellville, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at her residence. She was born Tuesday, March 15, 1938 in Huntsville, Ky., the daughter of the late Elmer Drake and the late Nancy Peay Drake.
She was the wife of David Morgan, who survives.
She was a cook for Lewisburg Elementary School and a member of First General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, David (Boo) Morgan oand Chris Morgan (Gayle), both of Russellville; here daughter, Pam Barrow (Keith) of Russellville; her brothers, Larry and Roger Drake, both of of Russellville, and David Drake of Bowling Green; her sisters, Louise Layne of Greenbrier, Tenn. and Rita Purvis of Shepherdsville; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Embry.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. David Youngblood and Bro. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
