Logan Leedom Browning, 79, of Highland Lick Road, Russellville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.  He was a Logan County, native born June 15, 1936 to the late Elzie Leedom Browning and Sarah Law Browning.  

He served in the Kentucky Army National Guard in the Berlin Crisis. He was the former co-owner of E. L. Browning and Son Trucking and a member of the Second Baptist Church.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J. D. Browning.

He is survived by his son ~ Rick Browning and wife Lisa ~ Lewisburg; his daughter ~ Teresa Harris and husband Ric ~ Auburn; his sister ~ Elizabeth Knight ~ Bradenton, Fla.; his grandchildren ~ Craig Covington ~ Russellville and Shelby Browning ~ Lewisburg; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Logan Leedom Browning will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Duff and Dr. Ron Wells officiating with burial to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  

 

Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, Dec. 27, from 5-8 p.m. and Monday, from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 1 p.m.
