Mary Frances Adams, 86, of Echo Valley Road, Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native, born Nov. 16, 1929 to the late John William Richey and Sally Hutcheson Richey. She was a seamstress for the Auburn Hosiery Mill and member of the Muddy River Missionary Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ray Adams. 

She is survived by her sister ~ Anna Belle Richey ~ Auburn; her brother-in-law ~ Donnie Haggard ( Myra ) ~ Auburn; her nephews ~ Charles Phillips (Sally)  ~ St. Joseph, Mo., Roy Philips (Brenda) ~ Bowling Green, and Alvin Phillips (Debbie) ~ Auburn; her niece ~ Rosanne Stocker (Robert) ~ Danville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services for Mary Frances Adams will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Jones and Bro. Robert Futrell officiating with burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday, Jan. 7, from 4-7:00 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 11. 

 

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Logan County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
