Maxine Elizabeth Robertson, 90, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at her home. She was a Logan County native, born Oct. 25, 1925 to the late Fred Marvin Nash and Ordie Victoria Addison Nash.
She was a florist and owner of Maxine’s Flower and Gifts and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlie Clifton Robertson, her son, Donald Ray Robertson, and her sister, Christine Markham.
She is survived by her daughters ~ Linda Hickey and husband Tom ~ Hopkinsville, Wanda Wade ~ Hopkinsville, and Cay Seeds and husband Brian ~ Virginia Beach, Va.; her sisters ~ Ophelia Jackie Foster and husband Billy Joe, Betty Anderson and Bonnie Piper and husband Donald ~ all of Russellville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Maxine Elizabeth Robertson will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan, 19, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Naylor officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday at the funeral home will be held from noon until the service hour of 2 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Pennyroyal Hospice in Hopkinsville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
