Christine Hawes White, 89, of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Creekwood Place in Russellville. She was born Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1926 in Logan County, the daughter of the late Arthur Hawes and the late Ethel Shelton Hawes. She was the wife of the late Lewis H. White.
She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Jimmy White-(Judy) of Lewisburg, Jeffery White - (Shirley) of Russellville, and Joey White-(Sherri) of Lewisburg; her daughter, Juley Nelson - (Tommy) of Lewisburg; her sister, Marene Davis of Cincinnati; her daughter-in-law, Irene White of Clarksville; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Jerry White, and her brother, Herbert Hawes.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m on Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Clardy officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
There will also be visitation from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church.
