Melvin Lee White, 68, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2016, while hospitalized in Bowling Green.
Born May 13, 1947 to Johnny and Gertie White, he was a lifetime resident of Logan County. He is survived by his siblings: Myrtle Pogue of Kentucky, Oscar Lewis ‘Red’ White (Joyce) of Ohio, and Evelyn Olinger, Betty Joines, Jean Morrow (Ray), and Lillie Mae Walton (Carl), all of Ind., and sister-in-law, Fada Mae White of Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Christine, his brothers: Ed, Willie, and Elmer, and his sisters: Viola (Lyons) and Margie (Farmer).
Services will be held at Price Funeral Home, Inc, Lewisburg, on Monday, March 14, with Rev. David Morgan officiating. Friends and family are welcome to pay their final respects at a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., immediately followed by services. Burial will take place at Lewisburg Cemetery.
