Jo Ann Gower, 72, of Henderson, Ky. died on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Ind.
She was born Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1943 in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of the late James Cooper and the late Mary Maxey Cooper. She was the wife of Ben ‘Bill’ Gower, who survives.
She was a homemaker.
Also surviving are her son, Jim Gower - (Misty) of Saginaw, Mich.; her daughters, Tammy Gower of Owensboro and Kim Graham - (Jeff) of Nicholasville; her brother, John Cooper -(Kim) of Wynne, Ark.; her sister, Bettye Kelly - (Wilsey) of Vicksburg, Miss.; her grandchildren, Catherine Graham of Nicholasville and Evan Gower of Saginaw, Mich.; her sister-in-law, Lillian Winn - (Michael) of Louisville; and her sister-in-law, Susan Gower of Lewisburg.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jim Cooper, and her brother-in-law, Ed Gower.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Lewisburg Cemetery. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
