Carson Inscoe, 88, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Friday, Oct. 14, 1927 in Quality, the son of the late Elna Inscoe and the late Dovie Ragland Inscoe. He was the husband of Norma Hardison Inscoe for 65 years, who survives.
He was a laborer for TVA and a member of New Hope General Baptist Church.
He served as a Corporal in the Army and a Veteran of Korea.
Surviving are his sons, Darrell Inscoe - (Carol), Keith Inscoe -(Sherry) and Jeff Inscoe - (Tammy), all of Lewisburg; his daughter, Naomi Evitts - (Scotty) of Greenville; his sisters, Eranelle Burns of Jeffersonville, Ind., Wardelle Smith of Louisville, and Jewell Yaryan of Brownsburg, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brother, Morris Inscoe and sister, Erdean Lee.
A funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Arno Kranz and Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Graveyard, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at Price Funeral Home.
