Carl Edward Gower, 88, of Lewisburg, died on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was born Tuesday, June 21, 1927, the son of the late George Raymond Gower and the late Nettie Henderson Gower. He was the husband of Jean (Williams) Gower, who survives.
He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his sons, Wayne Gower of Brentwood, Tenn., Steve Gower of Lewisburg, and Roger Gower of Lewisburg; his daughter, Cheryl Woods of Franklin, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Rev. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 5 p.m.on Monday, April 4, at Price Funeral Home.
