Vander ‘Mack’ Keeton, 87, of East First Street, Russellville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Logan County native, born Sept. 5, 1928 to the late James Albert Keeton and Euvie McMillin Keeton. He was a service technician for the Coca Cola Bottling Company, a Kentucky Colonel and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Rainwater Keeton, and his sons, Ron Keeton and Rick Keeton.
He is survived by his daughter in Law ~ Phyllis Keeton ~ Russellville; his sisters ~ Gladys Thomas ~ Auburn, and Martine McPherson and Maxine Lamb ~ both of Russellville; his grandchildren ~ Ron Brassell ~ Franklin,Stacey Cundiff ~ Auburn, Kim Spence ~ Panama City, Fla. and Kris Keeton ~ Washington, D.C.; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Vander ‘Mack’ Keeton will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Barnes officiating with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, May 25, from 5- 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 10 a.m.
