Ivan H. Habegger, 55, of Friendship Road, Auburn, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at University of Louisville Medical Center. He was a Pennsylvania native, born June 24, 1960 to the late Edison Habegger and Esther Hoover Habegger. He worked in lawn care service, enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a member of the Evening Light Tabernacle Church of Elkton where he served as deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years ~ Mary Jane Habegger; his son ~ Anthony Habegger ~ Auburn; his daughters ~ Natalie and Jessica Hershberger ~ both of Auburn, andMichele Beachy ~ Franklin; his brothers ~ Irvin, John and James Habegger ~ all of Scottsville, and Daniel and Dennis Habegger ~ both of Pennsylvania; his sisters ~ Ruth Peters, Ella Yoder and Grace Nisley ~ all of Sarasota, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Ivan H. Habegger will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the Evening Light Tabernacle Church in Elkton, with Bro. Thomas Byler and Bro. Barnhard Frank officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Sunday, June 12, until 7 p.m. and Monday at the Evening Light Tabernacle Church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
