Malcolm K. Farmer, 82, of Elmwood Drive, Auburn, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was a Todd County native, born Sept. 24, 1933 to the late George Farmer and Cordie Strader Farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a truck driver for Emerson Electric for 28 years, an officer with the Russellville Police Department for many years and a member of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mable White Farmer; his daughters ~ Cheryl Shelton ~ Parrish, Fla. and Pamela Shelton ~ Greenbrier, Tenn.; his sister ~ Yvonne Klassen; and his grandson ~ Ross Tregemba ~ Salt Lake City.
Funeral Services for Malcolm K. Farmer will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Frank Dockins and Harris Dockins officiating with burial to follow Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
